Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, participated in the closing activities of the fifth annual forum of the University Centers for Career Development (UCCD) Annual Networking 2024. The forum was held under the title "Career Readiness: MOHESR Vision 2030" from May 25 to 27, 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The forum was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with directors and teams from university career development centers from various universities.
The forum saw the attendance of Dr. Ahmad Dallal, President of the American University in Cairo, Dr. Tarek Shawki, former Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mr. Wick Powers, Director of the Education and Health Office at USAID in Egypt, Dr. Ayman Farid, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Training and Qualification for the Labor Market, as well as several university presidents and a number of higher education and career guidance experts from Egypt and around the world.
In addition to the project management team from the American University in Cairo, who organized the forum, Ms. Mariam El Gaby, Project Manager, Ms. Dina El Gohary, Deputy Executive Director of the project, and Ms. Maha Fakhry, Executive Director of the project, were also present.
The forum was attended by more than 200 members from the UCCD teams, representing 36 centers in 27 public, private, and technological universities in Egypt. The event included the official announcement of the opening of the Career Development Center at Benha University.
The delegation from Benha University included Dr. Ayman El Shahaby, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman, Executive Director of the University Career Development Center, along with the center's team.
